Sodium orthosilicate (Na4SiO4), also known as tetrasodium silicate, is an inorganic chemical compound used as a cleaning agent, anticorrosive, and in industrial processes like oil extraction, metal treatment, and ceramic production. It is a salt of orthosilicic acid, available in powder or granular form, with applications in detergents, water treatment, and the creation of specialty materials.
